🗺️
Claiming Territory
Run any route — the app tracks every GPS point. When you stop and tap the flag, a polygon is drawn between your GPS path and a straight closing line back to your start. That enclosed area becomes your zone on the live map.
⚡ Minimum 4 GPS points needed to claim
⚔️
Stealing Zones
Run through more than 50% of an opponent's zone to steal the whole thing. Smaller overlaps trim their territory at the edges. You don't have to follow the exact same route — any run that covers enough of their land takes it.
⚡ Cover >50% of their zone = full steal
🔄
Reclaiming Your Zone
Lost a zone? Run the same area again. Your new run creates a fresh territory following your exact new route. No zone is permanently lost — every zone can always be won back.
⚡ New run = new zone shape, not the old one
📐
How Area is Calculated
The area shown in km² is the actual geographic area of your polygon — calculated using the GPS coordinates. A 1km run in a rough circle claims roughly 0.08 km². Bigger, wider runs claim more area than back-and-forth routes.
⚡ Wide loops claim more area than straight lines
📏
Displacement vs Distance
Your profile shows two numbers — Distance (total km you ran) and Displacement (straight-line distance from start to end point). A loop run has high distance but low displacement. Both count on the leaderboard differently.
⚡ Displacement = straight line A→B regardless of route
⚠️
Anti-Cheat
Infinite Me detects vehicle speeds. Runs with sustained speeds above 8 m/s (28 km/h) are automatically flagged and rejected. This is a running game — walk, jog, sprint, but leave the car at home.
⚡ Max allowed speed: 28 km/h sustained
How scoring works
Leaderboard rankings
🏴
Zones
Number of territory zones you currently own. Stolen zones are removed. The primary ranking.
📍
Area km²
Total geographic area of all your zones combined. Bigger loops = more area per run.
🏃
KM Run
Cumulative distance you've run across all sessions. Never decreases even if zones are stolen.
⚡
Pace
Average pace per km shown on each run card. Visible in your profile run history.
Advanced strategy
Pro tips to win
🔁
Run loops not lines
A circular route encloses far more area than a straight out-and-back run of the same distance. The wider your loop, the bigger your territory.
🌅
Run early, claim first
Unclaimed territory is everywhere right now. Early runners get the prime zones — parks, stadiums, busy roads. Don't wait for rivals to get there first.
🛡️
Defend your borders
Re-run your existing zones regularly. Each new run refreshes your territory shape and makes it harder for rivals to steal — they need to cover 50% of your new, current shape.
🗡️
Strategic stealing
Don't just steal any zone — target large zones near your existing territory. Connecting zones into one continuous empire is more powerful than scattered dots.

Common questions
FAQ
Do I need to create an account?
▾
No — play instantly as a guest with just a name. Sign in with Google to save your progress permanently across devices and get your profile photo on the map.
Is it free?
▾
Completely free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no premium tier. Just run and claim.
My GPS is jumping around — what do I do?
▾
Wait for the GPS card to show "GPS Acquired" (green) before starting your run. Weak GPS signal (blue) means accuracy is over 20m — the app will still track but with slightly less precision. Running in open areas away from tall buildings gives the best GPS accuracy.
My distance seems shorter than my actual run — why?
▾
The app filters out GPS noise and very small movements to avoid fake distance from standing still. If you notice consistent under-counting, make sure your phone's GPS is set to High Accuracy mode in settings, and keep the screen on during your run.
Can I play on multiple devices with the same account?
▾
Yes. Sign in with Google on any device and all your territories, zones and stats are there. The same Google account = same runner, same data, everywhere.
What happens when my zone is stolen?
▾
You'll see a notification on your next map refresh. Simply run through the same area again to reclaim it. No zone is permanently lost — every zone can always be won back.
Does the app work without internet?
▾
GPS tracking works offline — your phone's GPS doesn't need internet. However saving your territory to the server and seeing other players' zones requires a connection. If you lose signal mid-run, the app keeps tracking and will sync when you're back online.
Two runners have the same display name — how do I tell them apart?
▾
Every player sets a unique @username when they sign up. Even if two runners share the same real name, their @username is always unique. You'll see @username on the map and leaderboard.
